What this app is
"The Odd File uploader" is a private tool used only by the creator of The Odd File to upload the channel's own videos to its own YouTube channel and Instagram account. It is not offered to the public, and no one else signs in to it.
What data it accesses
- YouTube (Google): permission to upload videos to the channel owner's YouTube channel, and to read that channel's name and the publish status of its own videos.
- Google account email: only to show the owner which account is signed in.
- Instagram / Facebook (Meta): permission to publish reels to the owner's own Instagram account and read that account's username and posts.
How it is used and stored
Access tokens are stored only on the channel owner's own computer and are used only to upload and check the owner's own videos. No data is collected from viewers or any other person. Nothing is sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.
The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google) and in Facebook / Instagram settings under Apps and websites. Deleting the stored tokens removes all local data.
